Its good to be alive. Education and empowerment truths can only be experienced by someone who is alive.
Youth they say, is an irresistible in any nation and the success of youth exhibit the triumph of such nation, but the success of youth lies in their passion because great passion can be the fire that helps fuel the success.
Passion is something you love doing and can do without being paid for. Passion is what you do and you are happy doing it. Passion is what you do and you are good and best at. Passion is what you do and you can hardly find a rival or competitor that can compete with you. Passion is what you do and you are addicted to it. For all these to occur the youth must have a creative minds that translate ideas to reality.
Discovery means new things that are not in existence before you identify them. Discovery means identifying something unique, something different to what is being use to. Discovery is identifying what is beneficial to man and its environment positively. It is also locating new resources that change things from old ways to new ways and in more perfect manners than the way it used to be done before.
From a statistic conducted recently, it was observed that out of every 10 youth in Nigeria only 2 have original intention with reasoning for their passion and purpose. The youth of today have lost focus and direction owing to the fact that the economy is not helping situation but there is need to have a developing mind which will lead to discovery of passion.
Our youth hardly think of discovering their passion because of lack of adequate counseling. This occurs mostly in secondary schools. I remember during my secondary school days, many people go into science department because their friends chose science subjects, this occur because they were not counseled adequately which lead to their poor performance, apart from the fact that the parents and school counselor prefers to trade amongst co-colleagues rather than do the job employed for. One would imagine what someone who intend to read Electrical and Electronics in tertiary institution is doing in the commercial department.
It is obvious that such person’s intention will not come to reality because the proper foundation is not laid. The onus now lies on the elderly ones’ to help the younger one’s discover their passion to enable them choose the appropriate profession they so desire.
The youth who is yet to discover his/her passion should consult those that will guide him/her appropriately to discover his/her passion and also should sit and have a rethink of what he/she wants in life.
Youth they said, fall between the range of age 18 to 40 which implies that both employer and employee should also take both steps to identifying their passion instead of engaging in activities that keeps them bored rather than excite them.
You can discover your passion by:
* Identifying what you like doing even without been paid for it and do it.
* Identifying what hurt you the most (pains.) and avoid it (them)
* Identifying what brings grieve and anger to you and avoid it(them).
* Identifying what gives you inspiration, develop and sustain it.
An informed youth is a resourceful leader; the youth should develop a learning attitude because there is need for a well-trained youth for the task of leadership owing to the fact that intellectuals and those with wisdom should occupy leadership position.
The youth should refuse to nurse fear and habitual procrastination and never admit that they cannot accomplish great things, because focus brings breakthrough.
Discover your passion toady.
